  1. I think this information is vital, as we will soon be part of those college populations. We need all the advice we can get on college life, and the do's and don't's. Our health is important to our grades, students who are used to excess tv watching or computer use, drinking, or smoking, they need to know that they can't get by in college by doing this. We already know that not goofing off in college is important, but know they have proved how important it really is. Our health in college is essential to our success. It's just that simple.

  2. Health and your GPA...

i do believe that your health is tied into your success and exhilaration. In the article it gives an example of a student who smoked who had a lower GPA than his equal who did not smoke. The information in this article can help people in high school because it is basically one step before college. high school is when you are getting ready for college, and if you know how to stay healthy then you will be ready the future in college. also healthy people are generally happy people, and if your happy you work better.

  5. i think that whole study was wrong. i personally barely sleep and i watch tv and stay on the computer at times but my gpa is way higher then (3.2). who says that the people who took the survay were all different. the test was poorly done in my opinion. and lastly the artical is not going to make me change my ways or make me think twice about changing because its working for me.

  6. The article had a mild effect on myself personally. I understand that for the most part, these statistics apply. But for myself, I don't really fit into that statistics. I do no smoke or drink, but I do have poor sleep habits. I do not blame my sleep habit for a factor in my GPA. Bad habits in college stem from bad habits in high school. Although I understand where they're going, I think everyone has their own method in school.

  7. this article to me proved useful information because it showed how the mind and body work together. It also made me realize how some of my bad habits effect my body, like staying up all night watching tv and not getting sleeep effects my mind and body the rest of the day. so with this information i'm just going to cut back on some of these habits, so i won't carry them to college with me.
