Friday, September 13, 2013: Week 1 is DONE!

Here is the checklist of work for students in all classes to complete by the end of the class period:

Friday Checklist! 
Warm-Up: Answer in your notebook: So how was your first week of school?  What class
do you think will be your best and why?  What will be your most difficult and why?  What are
your goals for the first marking period?  5 lines, please!   

Make sure you have completed the poetry work from yesterday.  Page 781.  Pull out your 5 favorite quotes/lines from the poem, and then write a 4 line explanation for each why these quotes are true for you!  

Finish your weekly paper and submit by 2:45pm.   

BONUS: Write in your notebook:  Tell me about a time when something happened to you that changed the way you looked at your life.  It could be  big, or it could be a small thing. Write up to 10 lines about this event and how it changed you. It’s ok to be funny and lighthearted if you want. You don’t need to be serious if you don’t want to!

Objective: By the end of class, students will be able to manage their own time to work
independently and prioritize tasks.
