AP English Literature Poetry Test: Open Notes/Open Book/Open Internet: Worth 200 points!
 

1. After seeing the essay test, you may consult with a neighbor for 5 minutes.
2. You must write 5 paragraphs (intro with thesis, lit device #1, lit device #2, lit device #3, conclusion).
3. Literary Device = TONE, WORD CHOICES (DICTION), IMAGERY, SYNTAX, THEME
4. Use evidence/quotes from the poem.
5. Hint: Contemporary means modern world
6. Turn in your essay test and poetry book (400 points!) by the end of class.  You may stay to work into next period if you need to.
