11th grade students will complete the following assignment for Monday - Tuesday:
AP English Language 12/10/12 – Working on Reading Endurance
From the book 50 Essays, choose any story that piques your
interest to read for today. The
story in you pick must be 4 or more pages long. Then, in your notebook, as you are reading, answer or do the
following:
1.
Looking at the title, why did it capture your
attention?
2.
Every ½ page, summarize what you have read.
3.
Write down three significant lines from the
story and explain why you think they are important.
4.
What was the author’s overall message from the
story?
5.
Answer any 2 of the reading questions at the end
of the story.
