Friday, November 13, 2009 (AP Lit: Period 3)

Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
1. understand an AP Scoring Rubric.
2. evaluate literary analysis essays - including their own.
3. collect data for research.

Agenda:
1. Students will read a sample model AP Poetry Prompt Essay and review the AP Scoring Rubric. Students will score the sample and then score their own essay.  Students will then turn in their poetry essays which they began on Monday.

2. Students will attempt to collect data from each other in a brief survey related to their research topics.


Homework:  Students should complete their Catcher in the Rye essays due for Monday.
