Objectives:
After this class, students will be able  to:
1. creatively respond to literature through poetry and imagery.
2. analyze self-selected quotes from a novel.
3. use technology to create a a literary product.

Agenda:

• Open up this website on Safari: http://catcherfoundpoems.wikispaces.com
• Review the 15 words, phrases, or lines that you identified for homework. 
• You will rearrange them in poetic form.  Your aim is to create a poem that captures the mood or essence of the novel.
• You must then write an analysis about how this poem captures the essence of the novel. This analysis should be 5-7 lines. 
• End your poem with "Arranged by" and your name because the words are not your own.  

Homework: Students will continue to read The Catcher in the Rye.
