Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
1. organize a writing portfolio.
2. listen to others and participate in a class discussion.
Agenda:
1. Warm-Up: Students will answer the following in their notebooks: Considering the following statement: "This week..." This phrase is meant to prompt the students to write about the school's break-in and ensuing chaos. Students will share their thoughts with the class.
2. Daily Announcements:
a. Senior projects are due on Friday, January 23,2 009. Will you be ready??
b. The second marking period is OVER. The third marking period is underway.
3. Students will review the table of contents for their senior projects and begin to organize their writing portfolios for submission to Ms. Kingsbury on Friday, January 23, 2009. The table of contents should include the following information:
