Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
1. read, listen to, and understand a Greek drama.
2. make predictions.
3. create a plot summary.
4. manage time to complete projects.

Agenda:
1. Warm-Up: Students should answer the following questions in their notebooks: When Jocasta realized that Oepidus was summoning the shepherd who found him abandoned as a child, she ran away through the palace doors. Where do you think she went?

2. Students will finish reading the play in class today.

3. Students will create a plot summary in two-column notes form (aka Cornell Notes) based on the five parts of a Greek Drama - prologue, parados, episodias, stasimon, and exodus. We will begin this together in class, and they will complete it for homework.

Homework: Finish plot summaries, and continue with summer reading assignments, independent reading assignments, and typing of career goals essays to be emailed to ms.kingsbury@verizon.net
