YOU WILL TURN THIS IN FOR CREDIT!! Find 3 people in your magazines who might be discriminated against based solely on their appearance. Then, for each person, write the following:
- Give an overall description of the person’s appearance.
- Explain why someone could discriminate against this person.
- Determine what about this person’s appearance cannot be changed, i.e., what features do they seem to be naturally born with.
- Determine if there is anything about the person’s appearance that they might consider changing in order to avoid discrimination. If there is nothing for them to change, explain why their appearance is acceptable to you.
Once you are done this, complete all homework assigned for this week – reading and questions.
