Welcome to the first day of school! For 11th Grade AP English & SAT English Students (Periods 1, 2, & 10)

This is the welcoming PowerPoint for 11th grade AP English Language (periods 1 & 10) and for SAT English (period 2):

AP English Language students are required to complete the following homework for Monday 9/10/2012:  

Write a two page (1 paper filled front and back) narrative in which you describe what you learned this summer. You should use a 5 paragraph essay format:

Paragraph 1: Introduction about your summer

Paragraph 2-4: Three lessons that you learned this summer (one for each paragraph)

Paragraph 5: Concluding thoughts about summer

Your paper will be graded on length (did you write enough) and use of end-of-sentence punctuation (periods, question marks, exclamation points). HANDWRITTEN ONLY!

SAT English students will get their syllabus signed for homework due on Monday 9/10/2012.
