Welcome back, Overbrook AP English students! In case you didn't know, you were supposed to complete a summer reading/writing assignment.
Click HERE, HERE, and HERE for the three pages of literary terms that you were supposed to define in your brand new English notebook (you did already start a notebook for this class, correct?). This is a requirement for ALL AP English students.
12th grade AP English Literature students were required to read The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo and The Stranger by Albert Camus. We will discuss these two books during the first two weeks of class, and you will be tested (in a yet-to-be-determined format).
11th grade & 12th grade AP English Language students were required to read Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass which can be found by clicking HERE. AP English Language students were also required to complete the writing assignments at http://ohsaplangsummer.blogspot.com. We will discuss these reading and writing assignments during the second week of school.
