In an effort to condense the tumultuous and unpredictable weeks before Winter Break, below you will find the warm-ups, class assignments, and homework for AP English LANG (Periods 7 & 8) from Friday, December 12, 2009 to Wednesday, December 23, 2009.  This work is listed in no particular order.

• Rhetorical Analysis for article entitled "38 Who Saw...," the story of the woman who was murdered while her neighbors did nothing to help her.
• Creative Writing for article entitled "38 Who Saw..."  Your task is to choose one character's perspective and tell their side of the story.  1 full page in length, handwritten.
• Essay which answers the question, "What makes you want to go to English class?"  1 full page in length, handwritten.
• Rhetorical Analysis of self-selected photo based on the concept of home.  100 points, emailed to ms.kingsbury@verizon.net.  See the assignment below this post for guidelines.
  

Students should comtinue to complete their senior project research papers on their wikispaces, and send a message through their Engrade account when they are finished their first rough draft.
