Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
1. read and discuss literature.
2. analyze characterization.
3. develop vocabulary and literary knowledge.
Agenda:
Today students will begin to read The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. We will begin to read this out loud in class, and students will continue reading at home. Our goal is to finish this book by the weekend and then to have a test on Monday, April 20.
Part 1 of the book is broken down here. By clicking on the link, you will be directed to the actual text with comments, questions, and vocabulary instruction embedded within. This breakdown is to supplement your understanding of the novella.
