1. Analyze the significance of the phrase “free, free, free!” in relation to the meaning (theme) of the story.
2. Is this a love story? Why or why not? Justify your choice with three examples.
b. “Roselily” by Alice Walker: begins on page 242
Questions to answer: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8
