  1. in my opinion the small privite schools should stay open. some people may like a really small school and if the schools get closed down then there wouldnt be any place to go that is really small. also i believe that the schools shouldnt be closed down because of the fact that there is history be hind those schools. it may not be well knon by every one but it is a part of someones history. i would just leave them alone.

  2. i think that they should stay opened. they should be saved. A lot of people would prefer a small school, so if all of them where to close where would they go. i realize that a lot of the schools depend on tuition for their funding and that they are not getting enough, but they should not close because of a bad year or to. the schools should hold on and wait until times get better instead of closing. also many people might have their hearts set on a cretin school for their future. if they close down they will be breaking someones heart, and they would be missing out.

  3. My opinion differs from my fellow peers. I believe that the small private schools should go close down. I believe that in this time and place that it isn't beneficial to keep a small private school open. But the downside of my opinion is that there will be less options for students. Everything can't go one way and not the other, but I still go with my earlier statement.

  4. I personally feel as though small private schools should stay open because there needed. A lot of kids have went there and grown and flourished. Not many kids can go to a big school like penn state and get the help they need. At a small school your not just a number but an actually student. Its more personal.

  5. I think they should stay open, having a diverse choice of schools is important, and if these types of schools disappear it will hurt the diversity of the American college system.. It's important that we have a choice in where we can go to receive our education, especially because we're paying for it. And this will probably hurt the economy too. Everybody knows diversity is a good thing. Ummmm.... can't think of anything else to say.... lolz....

  6. i think they should stay open because, many people like to have a diverse choice of schools to look at, and private schools help offer smaller population of students which is something many students look for in colleges.

  8. In my opinion I believe that the small private colleges should be allowed to stay open. My reasoning behind this is that people do not always like big crowds and like to stay around small crowds. They feel that with smaller colleges they can get their education faster and better.

  9. I feel as though everyone should have the opportunity to decide whether or not they want to attend a small or larger college. Closing down these private schools would limit the options that students would usually have. All students are not comfortable with a huge learning environment for several reasons. Some actually learn better in a smaller number and some just believe that its more affordable. But whatever the situation, the students should be allowed to make that choice and not be put in a situation where they can't simply because others feel that the smaller schools should be closed down.
