Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
a. describe the requirements of their senior project research paper.
b. define vocabulary related to research.
c. create a research paper outline.
Agenda:
1. Warm-Up: In their notebooks, students should answer the following questions: What is the topic of your research paper? Why did you choose this topic? 2-3 sentences
2. Students will take Cornell Notes (aka 2-column notes) on the following slide show which outlines the requirements and due dates for the research paper of the senior project:
3. Students will create their research paper outline from their research proposals. Ms. Kingsbury will check for completed outlines on October 17, 2008.
Homework: Students should begin researching their topic and collecting information to write their research papers.
