  1. Well in my own personal opinion it sounds like a clean cut idea. I have no idea what the comparison between euro's and U.S. dollars, but any low income families will be glad to take part in this. This ap class is a perfect example of why we need the computers. I believe that they should bring such a program to America. (email me if that was ok)

  2. I think this idea is very doable and should be supported by all who take part in education. As time has gone by we use computers for more and more school work. For example, this extra credit assignment not to meantion in college all assignment are done by computers. If this plan is put into action thoses less fortunate will have more opportunities to excel.

  3. in my opinion i think that this is a good idea.the good technology of a computer and what you can do with it can go a long way. especially for kids who need computers for things important like research and projects and many people cant afford them so...why not?

  4. I think that's an awesome idea. It's a great way to help bridge the "digital divide". That's something I think they should implement here in America, especially because of all the projects that require internet acess. It would definitely doable if we didn't spend so much money on useless wars and stupid space projects. This is why the education gap exists because we don't spend enough money on education. America needs to follow the example of some of these other countries education systems.

  5. i think that putting a computer in every students home is a great idea, because it is become essential just like the calculator was long ago. i think it is a doable proses, but that it might take time before you see the full effect of it. i don't think it is crazy, because it would help so many people. A lot of assignments that i have are computer based, but i know that a lot of people do not have access to computers outside of school. if one was provided for them it would make things easier.

  6. I think it is a good idea, The students are the future and technology is the future. The technology that are being created by these youths will make life easier in the future to come. Computers can help them get their school work done more quickly and easily.

  7. I think that this is a great idea of providing computers to low income families because it gives students opportunities and helps them prepare for the outside world. with our technology era more schools are using computers plus it's a faster way of doing work.

  8. I think that it is a great idea to give away free computers as long as they are used to better educate people. This will allow students better opportunities to learn more and get there work done. I believe this idea should be spread amungst countries world wide and have a better chance for the countries to learn more about eeach other. This could stop violence to a cutain extent if the people understand what others have to go through. I also believe that I am eligable to recieve a computer and would love to be put on the list lol!

  9. in my opinion the plan seems unfair to the other people who are not low income families. and also why shouldit only last for one year? what about the years after that? who said there will be enough money in the failies budget for that computer. so all of that would be a waste. i believe that if your going to provide a free computer to one why not all..

  10. The idea itself is crazy, but could be done. Some low-income families aren't fortunate enough to acquire a computer, but this gives them opportunity to take part in today's generation greatest invention. This is also great for a class similar to this class, which requires some use of the computer for homework or other activities. The possibility of this idea coming to America seems unlikely at the moment, but with time it could be achieved. As for the 'free computers for all?' question, I say shoot.

  11. I think that would be a good idea i don't know if its doabloe but if there is a way it can be done than i think it would be a great idea, because many students need computers to do many of the homeworks and projects that the teachers assign for them and many of them don't have computers . so a free computer would help benefit many.
